RediBreeze and
QuickBreeze
BREEZE AWAY GUM DISEASE IN YOUR SINK
Q: What is a QuickBreeze? A: QuickBreeze is an "Oral Irrigator" attached to your sink faucet. It is similar to the one used in all dental offices. It provides a steady, jet stream of water which you direct between teeth, along gum lines, and down into gum pockets. You control the temperature and pressure of the water. Q. Why do I need your products? I brush and floss at the time. A. Brushing your teeth and flossing are not the total answer. If it were, most gum disease would be gone. Plaque (bio-film) along with anaerobic (surviving without oxygen) bacteria set up house keeping under the gum line and on your teeth. Your brush and floss can’t reach all of these hiding places to remove them. Think of your car up on jacks and you are going to clean the underside of it. First imagine using a brush and soapy water. Then think of a high pressure spray (like at the car wash). Which one do you think will get at all the nooks and crannies and do the best job of cleaning? Q: Will
it fit on my faucet? Q: How do you install it? A: Remove your aerator, attach the adapter and then the QuickBreeze valve. Very simple. Q: How does it work? A: It operates using your house water pressure. You do not need electricity or batteries. The unit will not interfere with the regular operation of the faucet. The water flows normally until you activate the volume control. The water is then diverted to the hose and Pik. Q: How do I actually use the QuickPik to clean my teeth? A: First, adjust
the water pressure to low and bend over the sink. Then put the tip in
your mouth and slide the diverter valve to start the water flow. Keep
your mouth open so the water will drain back into the sink. Run the
stream back and forth against the front and back of your teeth and
gums. Angle the tip so the stream points upward into the area where the
gums meet the teeth. Q: Does the QuickBreeze hose interfere with the normal use of the sink? A: No. The hose stores against the back of the sink and is held there with a suction cup clip. Q: Does
QuickBreeze replace "string" floss? Q: Why is oral irrigation more effective than flossing? A: Floss only cleans the tooth area it contacts. Most people lack the dexterity to use it completely around each tooth. Floss will miss low spots or depressions found on all teeth. More importantly, string floss is useless down in gum pockets where plaque is sixty times more toxic than easy to reach plaque above gum lines. And, anyone with braces or bridgework will find string floss impossible to use effectively. Oral Irrigators reach all parts of each tooth and down into gum pockets. The jet stream of water dilutes and flushes out plaque and toxic bacteria. The warm water massaging action stimulates gums increasing blood flow to further promote healing. It effectively cleans braces, implants, and under bridgework. |
